WindForce PLC has secured 12 Battery Energy Storage System projects in Sri Lanka, totaling 120 MW capacity. This initiative represents the country’s largest standalone battery storage effort, aimed at stabilizing the grid as renewable energy usage increases. With an investment of LKR 20.79 billion, WindForce will manage 11 projects, enhancing energy security and reducing fossil fuel reliance.
