Independent power producer Vedanta Power has invited expressions of interest from Indian and global solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) developers and renewable energy solutions providers to develop 25-40 MW solar power projects at its 1,200 MW thermal power plant in Sakti district, Chhattisgarh. The last date to submit bids is February 25, 2026. The projects will be developed under a non-equity power purchase agreement framework, comprising either a renewable energy service company model or a build-own-operate model. The solar projects can be ground-mounted, floating, and/or rooftop.
