The Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation (TNGECL) has invited bids to set up 20 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects on government buildings under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model. The projects will be installed across four districts: Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, and Tiruvallur. The scope of work includes site survey, design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning, as well as operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar projects for 25 years to be implemented on a net feed-in basis.
