Sembcorp Utilities has received Conditional Approval from Singapore’s EMA for a 300 MW renewable power import project from Peninsular Malaysia. This includes a 2.2 GWp floating solar system and 4.3 GWh battery storage at Linggiu Reservoir. Expected to commence in 2029, it aims to enhance regional energy security and meet growing electricity demand.
