The Morro do Chapéu Project has successfully launched the 500 kV Medeiros Neto II – João Neiva 2 C1 Transmission Line, enhancing Brazil’s National Interconnected System and supporting renewable energy growth. This 283 km addition, part of a R$ 2 billion investment, improves electricity reliability and facilitates integration of new wind and solar power plants.
