The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has updated the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana to enhance solar equipment verification and data accuracy. Effective May 26, 2026, vendors can no longer submit applications with repeated serial numbers. The National Portal is now integrated with a Domestic Content Requirement system to improve reliability and traceability.
