CS PowerTech Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., has inaugurated its PV cell manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana, marking a milestone in reshoring solar production. Expected to generate over 6 GWp annually and create 1,200 jobs, the facility will manufacture advanced HJT solar cells, bolstering U.S. energy security and manufacturing capabilities.
