The Bangladesh Power Development Board has proposed a 442MW solar power plant in Rampal, Bagerhat, to support the country’s renewable energy expansion, targeting completion by December 2030. With an investment of Tk2,502.39 crore and a lower electricity tariff than existing projects, it aligns with Bangladesh’s 2025 Renewable Energy Policy and climate commitments.
