B2U Storage Solutions has commenced operations at its Bexar Martinez battery energy storage system in Texas, providing 28 MWh of grid services to ERCOT. Utilizing repurposed electric vehicle batteries, the project enhances battery lifespan, reduces waste, and supports grid reliability. B2U plans to expand its capacity by over 50 MWh soon.
