Solar module manufacturer Alpex Solar has inaugurated a 2.2 GW G12R tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cell manufacturing facility at Kosi Kotwan Industrial Area, in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The company said the new facility marks a significant milestone in its backward integration strategy and will add cell manufacturing capacity to its operations while boosting its ability to serve the domestic solar market.
