AGL Energy is developing a large renewable energy microgrid for Koompartu Farms, South Australia’s largest almond orchard, to meet its 6.7 MW electricity needs. The project, built for RRG Capital Management, features a 9.2 MW solar plant, a 10.2 MWh battery system, and backup generators, reducing diesel reliance by 88%.
