The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with ACME Solar for a 300 MW/1,200 MWh renewable energy project. This initiative focuses on providing reliable electricity during non-solar hours and emphasizes the importance of battery energy storage in India’s renewable energy transition. Commercial operation begins in May 2028.
