The Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission has partially approved UltraTech Cement’s request to increase its power drawal capacity at the Rawan cement plant. The capacity will rise from 22 MVA to 30 MVA in 2026-27 and to 50 MVA in 2027-28, with further increases requiring separate petitions and infrastructure costs covered by the company.
