Scatec ASA, in collaboration with EDF power solutions, has begun constructing the 900 MW Shadwan wind project in Egypt, aiming to be one of Africa’s largest onshore wind farms. The $716 million project will produce around 4 TWh annually, reducing carbon emissions significantly, while also encompassing Scatec’s broader renewable energy initiatives in the region.
