Finnfund and Proparco have invested USD 33 million in Colombian solar platform ERCO, enhancing the country’s renewable energy capacity while reducing reliance on hydropower. Supported by an EU guarantee, the funds will expand solar generation and battery storage, targeting 1 GWp additional capacity by 2030, and promote workforce inclusion.
