India has rapidly expanded domestic solar module manufacturing, while investments in cells, ingots, and wafers continue to gather pace. However, achieving a truly self-reliant manufacturing ecosystem will also require domestic production of ancillary components, including junction boxes, interconnect busbars, encapsulants, sealants, solar glass, aluminum frames, and DC cables.
