OX2 has begun construction on the Muswellbrook Solar Farm & Battery project in New South Wales, integrating 135 MW of solar generation with a 100 MW battery system. Once operational by 2028, it will generate 347 GWh annually, powering about 52,000 homes. The project supports grid reliability and reflects a trend of repurposing mining sites.
