Indore Municipal Corporation has launched a 60 MW solar power plant in Khargone, financed primarily through green bonds. This initiative aims to power water pumping operations, saving ₹4-5 crore monthly and cutting carbon emissions by 1.46 lakh tonnes annually. The project sets a benchmark for urban renewable energy integration and sustainability.
