Quality assurance services provider Intertek Group has acquired the assets of Japan-based chemicals company Mitsui Chemicals India’s solar photovoltaic testing laboratory in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The solar PV lab provides comprehensive International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025-accredited testing services for solar installations, materials, and components. It will also offer the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the IEC system of conformity assessment programs for electrotechnical equipment and components, and certification bodies’ accreditations.
