Axpo has signed a power purchase agreement with McDonald’s franchises in Spain to provide renewable electricity from a new 200 MWp solar complex in León. The deal will supply approximately 83 GWh of solar energy annually, supporting McDonald’s sustainability goals, including climate neutrality by 2050. This initiative is part of McDonald’s broader environmental strategy.
