Kuwait has contracted a $1.6 billion project to modernize the Sabiya Power and Water Distillation Station, led by Mitsubishi Power and HEISCO. Aimed at enhancing energy security and meeting growing demand, the upgrades will extend the plant’s life by 20 years, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact, supporting Kuwait’s “Vision 2035.”
