Singapore’s solar energy sector is experiencing rapid growth, with private companies contributing 66% of its total grid-connected solar capacity. By September 2025, installed capacity reached 1,932 MWp. The government aims for 3 GWp by 2030 to enhance energy security and reduce emissions, alongside a planned carbon tax increase.
